Shane Stokke has lived in Watrous, Saskatchewan area all his life where he has been involved in many Agricultural businesses. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Agriculture he took over his family’s farm. After 30 years of purchasing, leasing and opportunistically selling land, the farm has grown to a large Pedigreed Seed Farm.

Mr. Stokke saw the need for a seed processing plant in the Watrous, Saskatchewan area and built a facility to serve his farming community. After twenty years in the business, Mr. Stokke grew the company to what is now a grain buying, exporting and processing business that bags and ships food grade products to customers around the world specializing in three products: flax, coriander and caraway.

In addition to his on-farm activities, Mr. Stokke is active on many boards and in his community. Mr. Stokke served on several local boards including: the Watrous Co-op; REDA; the local Chamber of Commerce; and a local rural waterline. Mr. Stokke served as a director for 12 years and as chairperson for 4 years with the national and provincial organizations of Saskatchewan Flax Development Commission; Vice Chair of Grain Growers of Canada; and Flax Council of Canada. Currently, Mr. Stokke sits on the Canadian Grain Commission standards committee, and is a member of the Prairie Recommending committee.

Roger Grona can proudly trace his Metis heritage back to the 1700’s in the Red River Settlement. He is an Entrepreneur, Business Management Consultant, Investor and CEO. Mr. Grona is the Founder and CEO of Firebird Business Consulting Ltd.; the Founder, Business Partner and CEO of Firebird Business Ventures Ltd., and; an Investor and Business Partner in Rethink and Diversify Securities Inc.

CFO

Michael Del Bel has over 10 years of experience working in finance, consulting, product development, marketing and analysis roles with companies based in Canada and the United States of America, including Ontario Lottery and Gaming, Workiva and The Procter & Gamble Company.

Mr. Del Bel has provided consulting services on a full-time basis since 2016, conducted private market investment due diligence reviews for Rethink & Diversify Securities Inc. since 2018 and taught Business Strategy and Policy to fourth-year university students since 2019.

Mr. Del Bel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Gold Medal), Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Strategic Management. Through Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Mr. Del Bel graduated as part of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
